Last year (or this year in Mexico) John Cameron Mitchell gave us a stark look at the world of parents trying to survive after the death of his infant son in Rabbit Hole, this film earned a nomination for Nicole Kidman and has been one of his best roles. But this year the director Shawn Ku brings us a movie that focuses on an aspect that had not been touched.
Maria Bello and Michael Sheen interpret the obtained to the parents of a teenager apparently normal but one morning they find that there has been a shooting at his high school and he is the murderer. As I said this is a very original twist as long as managers address this issue focus on adolescent thought frustrated that the teen was the result of bad parents.
Both actors, so just watch the trailer, can be considered as two strong contenders on the Road to Oscar 2012 and has certainly become one of the movies I want to see in the coming months.
