Michael Gough, a veteran actor who plays Alfred Pennyworth in the original four Batman films (directed by Tim Burton and Joel Schumaher) has left us his 94 years of age. Apart from winning a Tony Award and a BAFTA (the Oscar UK) participated in several more films among which, Out Of Africa, Brazil and three collaborations with Tim Burton (Corpse Bride, Sleepy Hollow and Alice in Wonderland).
I know that many now say that Michael Caine is Alfred the best of all, but for those who grew up with Tim Burton, Michael Gough was as we imagined to Alfred as a loving father figure involved in the insanity of Bruce Wayne.
